Achieve Perfect Points Every Time
Achieving perfect points has never been easier with this little trick up my sleeve. It requires one additional step to the piecing process, but it works every time:
- Firstly, Pin the piece of fabric together. Place pins horizontally at where the points / seams meet and anything between vertically. The placement of the points are going to come in handy in the next step.
-
Sew approximately 1"-1.5" seam at each point (where the horizontally placed pins) to prevent the two pieces of fabric from moving as you move your project around.
- Remove pins and check the points / seams have lived up. If necessary, unpick your work until your points / seam are lined up.
- Repeat steps 1-3 so you can chain piece a bunch of blocks or rows. Press the seams open or to the dark side.
